We had some fabulous weather to finish up the flag football season. Miles had a ton of fun playing with his buddy Gabe. We are already excited for next year!
I don't even remember the exact details of how this happened but thank heavens no one was hurt! Ollie and Kate were trying to put up the umbrella and something slipped or something and the glass top on the table completely shattered! Oliver was sitting on top of the table so he feel right through. We really were so blessed that nothing more serious than minor scratches happened.

And WATER!!!!! This is one of the most fun parts about summer. We get lots of outside time and get to play in the water tons! We got these two tiny kiddie pools for the deck and they've been so fun. I love it when simple things get tons of use.

We taught our older three how to play Settlers of Cataan and it became an instant favorite. We've had some great games this summer.

And this is what happens when I get behind in updating. I can't even remember how Jonah got this black eye! But look how tough he is!!
Kate did a few dance camps in June. She had one pretty much weekly and did a different activity each time. The water party was definitely one of the favorites!
Literally the highlight of Oliver's day is when Tristan gets home from work and he can help him set up the squink. He knows the whole system and where everything goes. It's so funny. Usually Tristan picks up the sprinkler and Ollie grabs the stopper and they go get to work. This was one Sunday after church.... he decided to take matters into his own hands and I couldn't help but let him have at it. :)

Tristan took a day off and the little boys went to play with my mom while we took the 3 oldest to Seven Peaks. We got the pass so we could go back with everyone but this day we were able to ride the slides with the older kids and it was so much fun! My kids are brave and tough and fun! And my hubby is a babe... and pretty dang fun to be with too! :)
Miles and Jonah did track this year. Miles tried different races almost every time to figure out which ones he likes best. Last year he ran the same ones almost every meet. This year he ended up liking the 200m a lot. Jonah also tried different ones but he discovered he LOVED the 800m and was pretty stinkin' fast at it! He even took first place once and did awesome the other times too. Track meets can get long sometimes but they are so fun. Ollie was a good little cheerleader and always gave them a big hug when they finished a race.

I went up to Cub Scout day camp with Miles and our scouts one day. After we were there for about an hour or so it started raining really hard. People were opting to leave but we decided to wait it out and see what happened. Well then lightning started... and hail... and we thought maybe we ought to go too. Jamie and I went to get the cars and as we were walking back the weather started clearing up. We were so glad we stayed. The boys ended up having a really great time and passing off some fun things!
Toward the end of the month we had the Wankier family reunion. It was my mom's turn to host so we did right here in the SL valley. We had a little shindig at our church pavilion and in the parking lot on Friday evening. Mike and Timette brought their ATVs and we used Brittney's 4-wheeler train and pulled the kids around. We also got a bounce house and people played volleyball and just played! It was so fun. My uncle Dave brought some things he had from my great-grandpa Wankier's house in Levan. There was a pair of old boots that my grandpa likely wore when he was a little boy and some old newspaper articles. Then Saturday we had an auction in the morning where we auctioned off things we all donated for points. It was a blast. We had a picture/video scavenger hunt, headed to a park for lunch and then downtown for the Bees game.

Then we were super excited to celebrate Graham's 1st birthday and Oliver's 3rd birthday. Now when people ask how old he is, he responds, "I'm three for my birthday."
We had Sunday dinner here with Tristan's family. Tristan and I offered to host since his parents are down at camp all week. George's birthday is the day before Graham's so Stephanie brought a cake for him and we sang to all 3 of the little birthday hooligans.
More birthday shenanigans! We had my family over another day since we had celebrated with Tristan's already. These cute boys make us so happy and we're so glad to have them in our family! When you're turning 3, you need to find as many opportunities to blow out candles as you can. We stuck them in just about every meal we had for the days surrounding Oliver's bitthday.
Here you go little one-year-old! Here's your very own cake! He just dove right in and thought it was delicious. But he wasn't above sharing some! He is starting to say a handful or two of words and is deciding he should probably start walking sometime soon!
After our little party Oliver and Ammon had their very first sleepover. They really did so good and had fun watching for airplanes in the back yard and reading stories.
Miles got to have his first try at mowing the lawn. He did pretty great. The self-propeller on our lawn mower is broken so it's no easy feat! He did a great job. A great guy in our ward is going to come fix our lawn mower to make it a little easier for us to push the mower.
Tristan came home with this cute card, flowers and my current fave candies for our anniversary. I love my man!
Tyson and George have birthdays really close to each other so they had to do a little coordinating so we could make it to both baptisms. Ryan got ordained an elder the night before George's baptism so that was awesome to go to. The spirit was so strong in the room when their bishop was talking to Ryan. It was also so great to be able to go to the temple with them when they were sealed. We are so happy for them!!
So at the very end of the month we headed to Parowan for Tyson's baptism. We were ready with a little time to kill before the baptism so we drove up to Brian Head. It was sad to see where the fire had destroyed so many of the trees but it was still really pretty up there.
After the baptism Graham practiced walking with Grandma! Almost there!!
And it wouldn't be a trip to Parowan without some swimming with cousins. These kids really have so much fun together and I'm so grateful they have each other!!
